OCC PIV Card (HSPD-12)

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) PIV card serves as the identity badge for OCC employees and contractors. It uses smart card technology to provide reliable and secure identity verification for both physical access to OCC facilities and logical access for IT systems.

The OCC uses a standardized ID badging process designed to enhance security, reduce identity fraud, and protect the personal privacy of those issued government identification, as directed in Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12), Policy for a Common Identification Standard for Federal Employees and Contractors.

For more information about OCC PIV card services, email the Office of Security or call (202) 649-6600 for assistance. If you are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.
