National Diversity Internship Program (NDIP)
The National Diversity Internship Program (NDIP) provides professional development and enrichment opportunities through real-world experience. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) contracts a highly talented and diverse pool of interns to fulfill intermittent employment needs through NDIP. The program is a year-round initiative, administered by the External Outreach and Minority Affairs (EOMA) Office.
NDIP interns are undergraduate and graduate students, enrolled either full- or part-time in an accredited college or university. Interns must maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average and be either United States citizens or residents.
The program’s goal is to provide professional career experience through substantive work assignments and projects that will enhance marketability for future jobs. The NDIP also strives to expose interns to the many career opportunities available at the OCC and potential for employment after graduation.
Below is a list of national organizations through which NDIP recruits its interns.
- INROADS, Inc.
- Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities
- The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars
- Washington Internships for Native Students (WINS) through American University
